Chinon 24mm

I purchased this about month ago and I haven't seen any reference about it except some old guides detailing what Chinon sold. Does anyone have a copy or know anything about this lens?

No, I can't tell you anything about your lens. But, it does look interesting.
Is that a .2m minimum focus distance I see on the distance scale? If so, that's pretty good.

How does it perform?

It's .25m mfd. And honestly I don't know how it performs. I just returned from Tanzania, East Africa and took my Sigma Super Wide instead of the Chinon because it was lighter and had the A setting. I'll try it out this weekend.

I also have a Sigma Super Wide II.
I love its sharpness and close focusing.

There's some mention of the Chinon 24 f/2.5 here:

I needed a hood for it. I'm afraid some of the pictures with have horrendous flare.

Never seen one like this - looks to be quality lens. Interesting it has quite large filter thread - 55mm . Post some samples - both close and infinity distance - very curious how it performs .

I've never seen that one before but I wouldn't worry - I don't think I've ever seen a 24mm with bad reviews. The Sigma 24/2.8 super-wide is great.
