In a need of wide rectilinear lens… Suggestions please.

I am in a need of wide rectilinear lens for interior/exterior or architecture shots (never thought I will go that route but that’s life).
The lens should be good from corner to corner (prefer full frame lenses) and I need a bit of help here.

Which one I should get?

Please post your suggestions here and if you have samples that will be great.

Thanks!

How wide do you want to go? The DA 15mm is Pentax's holy grail, sort of

Thanks Adam. I didn't knew that Samyang was having 10mm rectilinear.

But just to clarify I do not want to go wider than 12mm in regards of distortions but that 10mm looks like a good one.
Just wondering if comparing Samyang 10mm with Samyang 14mm and DA15mm which one has more flat field or sharpness across the field.

currently I have a bid running on ebay for that one... Do not know but if I win I can tell you. They are mixed results with some people telling that it is better than DA15mm but some of them reporting that 15mm is better. Who knows.

Why not consider APS lenses? would be my first question. Going FF means gigantic front elements on wide angles and all the problems that that brings - huge filter prices, FLARE! APS format has us spoilt for wide angle lenses - Price an 82mm circular polariser and then a 49mm one!
The lenses I have - Sigma 10-20 (not f3.5 version) - very, very sharp, very wide and great indoors. But not so good when the sun appears in shot.

15 limited, really to appreciate it, you need to shoot with some other wide angle first. Because only then will you appreciate how important flare resistance is in a wide angle. (and also the light weight...) When you have a wide angle, the sun will be peeking into practically every photo. Photos DON'T get washed out with 15 limited, photos don't get rows of hexagons across the shot caused by the sun, nor rainbow flares... Here's a shot where I deliberately create the flares with the 10-20. Normally, you will spend a lot of time trying to avoid these.
Then there's the Pentax 12-24, which someone else may chime in on.

I prefer FF lenses in regards of more flatness across the frame and sharpness corner to corner. I tried 10-20mm lens and I did not like it. Too much distortions at the wide end. If it is not usable at the wide end and is good at 15mm why I should not go right away with 15mm lens. Why do I need unusable wide end. Just my 2c.

The DA14 is not ultra sharp (the DA15 might be sharper) but it's still decent, good AF and good build.
