lens repair

I have a Pentax F50/1.7 that I got for cheap that needs some work. It autofocuses fine, but seems to overexpose shots by a full two stops (i have another copy of the same lens, this is based on comparison as well as the little bit i have learned of photography in the last few years). It also is missing most of the filter ring. I am looking for somewhere to have it checked out/repaired, but not spend a fortune. I emailed Eric that everyone recommends here, but he said he does not have parts for that lens. Any other suggestions? Thank you.

Suggest you manually look at the performance of the aperture blades. If they are not moving freely (toggle the lever near the mount of the lens) then it is possible that it has some oil on the blades. This being the case it is a clean job and Eric should have no problem. Otherwise I have no suggestion for you.
