I think I am leaning towards the 17-70. I know the 14mm would be awesome for the wide shots at night, but the inability to add a filter to the front kinda puts it lower on the list. I want to also use this lens for wide daylight shots.
Do any of you see any reasons I should go after the 16mm f2 over the 17-70?
Amazon have the vivitar 13mm 2.8 (rebadged Samyang/Rokinon) for $199. You could get that and a 17-70 (or Sigma 17-50 2.8) for your budget.
