Post pictures made with your worst lens!

...because it's fun!
I have this broken, awful Cosina MF 28-210mm f/3.5-5.6 MC (manual focus) which is terribly soft...
But I'm keeping it because it renders beautifully, on occasion, and hey! it's a lens more I have!

ISO200, 210mm, f/5.6, 1/3000

It has a nice, dreamy look. Great idea. If I get some time this weekend, I need to dig a little.

Easy - the one that controls people's minds. Plenty of CA, fuzzy sides and corners, unreliable AF - you name it. There are some sharp bits in the middle, but you have to look for them.

No way! The EXIF shows this is the DA 15. I have never seen an image from my DA 15 that looks anything like that!!

It can have its better days but it is basically cr*p unless stopped down.

This was taken with a Takumar 80-200 f/4.5. I was never a great lens even when originally bought a few decades ago. It has fungus and sand made it's way into it... making a nice grinding sound when zooming it. It has nothing for it. At the moment, I think it is my worst lens (tie with the Tamron 28-200LD)

But it does have a nice character.

Being an M lens it doesn't record aperture settings but my guess is that it was wide open.

I just looked through a bunch of my DA 15 f/4 images, and I have nothing to complain about at all.

I never kept a lens I didn't like I think with patience even the dogs can turn out nice images as long as they are functional.
My Tamron 70-300 is known as a purple fringe monster, but with PP it clears right up.
It is very sharp and quick to focus otherwise.
It also has a decent close focus function.

Phoenix/Samyang 75-300 mm f 4.5-5.6

Couple of cluttered areas in my home office using an old zoom received with a Pentax film camera I purchased on eBay. Lens is too bad to use but looks too much like a lens for me to bring myself to toss it away in the trash can. These two shots are sharper than expected. Its mediocrdacy really shines at 300 mm.

My FA 35-80, rated 8 something and worth $28.

I actually kind of like this lens... what's the issue?

Oh wait, my Sigma 70-300 is rated lower than 8 (but costs more)..

My worst lens, was my favourite lens for about 5 years. Go figure.
