No limiteds, no f/1.2 glass, no macro, and way too many zooms covering similar ranges.
You still have a long way to go
The fastest I had was f/1.4 and it didn't do it for me. I am likely going to sell my Tamron 17-50 later on, but not right now and my Sigma 70-300 along with the older F zooms that get no use. I haven't really done much in macro stuff, though I may use what I have with extension tubes, and as for limiteds, from my experience with primes so far I don't think I could justify the cost/benefit ratio for myself with my type of shooting.

It's a good thing no one knows where I am now because I would say that they would come after me with pitchforks and torches because I don't see the appeal of the limiteds...

I goofed around with various spreadsheets I've kept over the last 15 years. I quit coutning somewhere around 200.

Recently I changed my approach entirely. Since I got the K-3 I really haven't used film cameras or manual focus lenses much (about a year now) so I executed the dream plan (+1).

FA31/1.8 | FA43/1.9 | FA50/2.8 Macro | FA77/1.8 | DA55~300 (candidate for replacement come spring)
DA40/2.8 Limited (perma-mounted on the K-01)

Aside from a long lens or a FF zoom and the 1.4x TC I think I'm fully covered and it all fits in one shoulder bag.
My next lens might just be a Coronado solar telescope.

I wonder if there is a Q-mount converter for that?

Yep. And I already have one for my 5.1 and 8 inch reflectors.

Well you've got a point insofar that term Limited is overused. Practically all the primes are Limited or *. Similarly there is only medium & large coffee and no small condoms too...

if you could bottle up a cure for lba, and sell it, you'd be a rich man!

I considered doing that also but came across a great deal on a EX+ used one and decided to just go for it. If I feel like that is a mistake later I could always sell it and get the 77 instead. My last few Flickr photos were from the inaugural outing last night. I like it.

The pristine condition of this lens really made me realize my 15 and 40 are getting pretty beat up looking!

You look set.

I pretty much have the Pentax strain under control, but I have to battle with the new Canon virus now, as well...just need a short tele/macro....

That's what I was thinking until I happened to encounter recently a Pentax ME with a M 50/1.4 at a flea market. Very quickly, I was $20 poorer but one lens richer. Sigh!

I sold a combo exactly like that on here, and ME with an M 50 f/1.4.

Why am I laughing at this reply?

I'm still drooling for some Zeiss....

Wow. This thread got me thinking......The last lens I purchased was the venerable FA 31 about 4 months ago. So far it has not left my K-5. Could my LBA have come to a full stop??? We'll see........Check out my Sig for my current roster of lenses. (About $3,500 my cost). The shot was taken with the F35-70. A $39 lens EVERYONE should own

This explains the slow pace on the Marketplace (for me at least): an abundance of satisfaction! That's ok, black friday weekend will force discontent to arise where none now exists... like it does every year.

Very odd, but strangely true. That thing has to be the ugliest, and worst feeling lens ever, but man it can take a good picture. For the price you can find it, it probably is the best lens around dollar for dollar.

I think my LBA (at least on the Pentax side of things) is almost complete, once I spring for the FA77 1.8. After that I think I've got everything I need covered. Or at least the expensive LBA, since there is some cheap old M42 stuff I've been thinking about... And rounding out my other two systems (the M mount Voigtlander 40... oh man.) And collecting FA limiteds... And...
