Do we list these various 50 mm lenses by name and count all of them up? Or do we just list them by let's say..... at least a bucket full?

Indeed a lot of duplicates. Do whatever makes you happy.

I collect 1957-77 Asahi Pentax 35mm cameras, so many of my duplicates came with camera lots. I display the cameras with a lens, usually a 50-58mm,though a trio wear various Takumar/Auto. Takumar 35mm variants.

Really I own a lot of , because it´s one of my favourites FL . I´ve started in year 1999 with a new FA 50 f/1,4 with Z-1p , and over the years have added several second hand 50 lenses as follows :

A 50 f/1,7 , wonderful small lens.
SMC Tak 50 f/1,4 , need no comments
Pancolar 50 f/1,8 , relly very nice and sharp. The build is not so good as the Pentax line . The coloours are more cold , specially the blues.
FA 50 f/1,7 , my favourite 50 for years mainly using with Z-1p , K 10D , K-3 and finally K-1 . Very sharp and I prefer over my old FA 1,4
F 50 f/1,4 : Wonderful lens . I think better than its FA counterpart .
F 50 f/1,7. My today´s preferred 50 , specially with K-1 . Also very sharp and with rich colours.
K 55 f/1,8 : wonderful masterpiece ( as all K series ) . Very cheap and in mint condition . Almost as good as A 50 f/1,7 , but without " A " setting.
F 50 F/2;8 macro. Excellent macro lens
I think my most used at present , mainly with K-3 and K-1 are both FA and F 1,7, since I like very much the sharpness and the rendering of colours that they provide.
