48 50mm
1 52mm
7 55mm
2 58mm

3 50mm that haven't arrived yet. (A Nikon 50/1.4 pre-ai attached to a Nikkormat FT2, a Nikkor-S 50/1.4, and a trash Mamiya 50/2 ZE mount)

Sounds plausible - I've seen a couple of those broken too; one in a job lot I returned to the seller because everything was smashed (the idiot didn't put in any padding between the lenses), the other was on a camera body I didn't buy in a street market.

The Nikon version of the Yongnuo is actually pretty good mechanically, but it's a near clone of the early Nikon 50/1.8G lens (no on-lens aperture controls), and I have a 50/1.8D which is as good optically and has aperture controls, so again I didn't keep it.

the FA43 Limited is gone..

but I've added:

Cosina 55mm f1.2
Fujinon EBC 55mm f3.5 Macro (M42)
So you've got one of the later Porst 55 1.2's with a k mount and a min aperture of f16, and now a Cosina 55 1.2? What's the min aperture on that lens, f22 or f16? Which do you like better?

I've been meaning to work on selling my M 50 1.4 and getting a Porst like the one you have. Yours seems like a pretty good performer wide open and I'd love another ~1/2 stop of light grabbing.

Aahhahah. Indiscreet question.

If we remain in the Pentax realm I have:

1) K50mm f1.2 (the king).
2) two K50mm f1.4
3) a M50mm f1.4
4) few M50mm f1.7
5) an A50mm f1.4
6) few A 50mm f1.7
7) two Takumar 50mm f1.4
8) a macro Takumar 50mm f3.5

I don't mention the 55mm and the non Pentax glass.

the Cosina is an f16 lens, also....

I'll be using the Cosina for August's Single In Challenge, so I'll be able to tell you better about the comparison later in the month....

Finally got a 50/1.4 Nikkor AF - seems to be working well, I'm about to take it out for a stroll, see what the results are like.

later - test photos with the 50/1.4 here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/150868539@N02/albums/72157710144591971

I think that there is a curse on the 50mm Yongnuo - the guy who bought the last one I had hasn't even received it yet but has decided that he bought it in error and wants to return it...

I have that curse on a Sigma 120-400mm Sigma Mount lens. Sold twice, cancelled twice, second time after shipment.

Back on topic, I知 thinking of buying another 50, the Rikenon P F1.4. If I hit the Lotto, I値l hunt up a Cosina or Pentax F1.2.

Lotto not needed, just be ready to buy when the deal arrives...

I've paid less than $200 for both of my f1.2 lenses...

Glad to hear that. But do put owning a 50mm prime on your bucket list. Something like the M 50mm f/1.4 can do things that neither of those two fine zoom lenses can. Like low light handheld shots. Or extra blurry backgrounds.
