Samyang 10mm vs 14mm

I'm interested in a fast wide angle primarily for landscapes and astrophotography. The review on Pentax forums indicates the 10mm is sharpest at f4.5 (slow for astrophotography). I have read great things about the 14mm. I'd prefer the ultra wide as I already own the sigma 17-50, but I'm torn as there aren't a lot of reviews of it yet. Anyone want to give their opinion on the two lenses?

It's hard to compare the sharpness of the two because the 10mm is just that much wider than the 14mm. Therefore I think that this is the key thing you should take into account when choosing between the two. They're both capable of delivering good results from a technical perspective.

IMO, the 14mm is already wide enough for most star photos, but I guess it really depends on what you plan on shooting

I have the Bower 14mm f/2.8 version of this lens (also sold as Rokinon & Samyang) and I like it. I don't use it as much since getting the DA 15mm.
Here is a link to two evaluations I made of this lens, it might help.

I have the 14mm and I find it awkwardly wide for many uses. 10mm is really extreme. People often guess wrong how wide they need. Keep in mind that with 10mm anything that is a couple meters away is really small in the frame. Landscapes quickly turn into nothing but foreground, because everything else becomes to tiny. You have to be really up close, very near the subject, with 14mm already, and with 10mm even more.
In fact, when people here ask about Samyang ultra wide angles, I usually recommend the16mm f2.0. Fast aperture, not awkwardly wide,.. should be easier to focus due to shallower DoF.. and Ive seen some really great astrophotos taken with it.
Another thing is that the wider the lens, the smaller the stars become (but you capture more of them in the frame)
