I just got such a bargain off of ebay I had to tell someone about it. I bid on a DA 50-200 last week and got it for $5.50 + $14.00 shipping. It was listed by a clearance company and the add had blurry pictures of it. I expected I would have to throw it away when I got it. It showed up today (very fast shipping) and it looks brand new. Not a scratch or spot on it! I slapped it on and it works perfect in every way. It makes nice images with an interesting bokah but pretty slow.

It's a good lens. For being plastic .

I never find anything like that on ebay... One of my favorite go to lenses... Never fails me and it is small/ light with a great usable range... clip a raynox 150 or 250 on the front and you have a really good macro lens too...

That's a greet pickup ... I have been looking for a cheap one ... just for a "beater" /// but still haven't found anything for that price ... that is indeed a bargain.

I don't spend much time on ebay. I do a search for "Pentax Lens" once or twice a day. I kept an eye on this one for several hours before it ended. The high bid was .99 all afternoon and I bid $25.00 about five minutes before it ended and got it for $5.50. I'm not usually this lucky. This is a really light and compact lens. I need to learn how to post so I can put up some pictures of this and some that I have taken with my new Tamron 28-75. Maybe I'll have time this weekend. I really enjoy this forum!

I love the lens, I bought it just to have something over 50mm when I got the camera. It was the cheapest one, until i found the Samsung version that costs half of the Pentax one . The Samsung version in Sweden costs about 150$ new.
