Why? They aren't going to sell any more after the FF is out than they would now. Pentax has the 150-450 and that is going to be your only choice.
That depends how attractive and successful the K1 is. If it really takes off, it may make sense to Sigma to produce a K-mount version.

so far that hasn't worked for either of the sony mounts, and sony has a much larger market share than pentax has.

i don't understand the logic... zeiss(and others) sell expensive mf primes in fe-mount; specialty lenses that have a small niche market appeal, but tamron and sigma won't do their mainstream glass in fe-mount, k-mount, etc.

if anything, those companies already have k-mount experience, it's not like they would be starting from scratch, which they would have to do with fe-mount.

k-mount in particular seems like a no-brainer... even sony a-mount, to some extent.

I would imagine that Zeiss has more mark-up on their lenses, so they can afford to sell in smaller numbers.

Tamron used to release almost all their lenses in K-mount, but they suddenly stopped releasing new models in K-mount a few years ago. It is now obvious that Tamron and Pentax have some kind of lens partnership where Pentax licenses Tamron designs for certain lenses. This partnership is probably the reason Tamron stopped releasing K-mount lenses. It's a shame though, as there are plenty of Tamron lenses that would be very welcome in K-mount.

As for Sigma, they have done a good job of supporting K-mount, but recently they have decided to not release a few key lenses for Pentax. But they have been known to release the K-mount version at a later date, and also to discontinue the K-mount variant prematurely, so I think in their case it is more of a simple supply/demand based decision.
