Recently I got the lens from B&H and it stated that this particular lens does not have OS for Pentax K-monunt. But there are OS control and OS label on lens and package. The OS seems to work, now I wonder if the OS is native in lens or it uses sensor shift in camera (of course I disabled it in camera)? I could not found answer to that question, can anyone reveal the mystery to me ?

Ok, so the deal is with this lens is that you need to pick the image stabilization: either the lens or camera but not both. IMHO, turn of Pentax SR and go with the Sigma OS. I forget which OS setting 1 or 2 is best for which but some reading and experimenting should show you what's best. I love mine.

disable *shake reduction* on your camera body then set OS on lens-i own the lens and that is what i was told to do

There were 2 versions of this lens for Pentax. The earlier version did not have OS. The newer version does. There are 2 different modes. Mode 1 is for general use, Mode 2 disables horizontal stabilization so it can be used for panning.

Interesting, why Sigma does not indicate that this lens has OS for Pentax, on B&H site they state it does not support OS too.
