Very Happy (LBA)

Picked up a lens I have been pondering for quite sometime now.

Took a few shots with the lens, wow is all I can say. Very sharp throughout the right colors, just a great lens as most people who have one know.

No hint here;

Hint, 50mm;

Bigger hint; 135mm;

Yup, you are right Daacon.

We are going out for dinner on the beach, should be able to get a few more shots.

Cool, you finally got my lens in!! Now if you'll just forward it to me, everything will be fine
Gratz

I seriously considering this as a next lens purchase, along with 2 other lenses *sigh* Decisions!

Congrats on your 50-135!

I see you picked the sigma 18-50 over the DA* 16-50. How is that treating you? and how did you come to that decision?

Thanks!

I just couldn't justify the $950 16-50 vs. the $500 18-50. I'm not putting the 16-50 down but from the images I've seen I don't think its twice the lens.

I was considering the Sigma 50-150 over the Pentax 50-135 but; the Pentax was in stock, the 50-150 had no ETA in delivery and I was impatient, lol.

Those are great examples of why I to think the 50-135mm is one of my best lenses.

Hmm, pentax now has a 100$ rebate for the da* 16-50 which brings it down to 569$ after rebate. And the sigma 18-50 is 419$. That is a 150$ difference. Do you think the pentax 16-50 is worth it if I bought it now?

It's not that low in Canada. Regardless, the Sigma 18-50 is doing more than I expected so I'm pleased.

Cool, I have pondered about this lens as well. Although I have decided to go the prime route, this lens has always kept me thinking. Congrats
