DA* 16-50mm
Sigma 100mm Macro

on K20D which is still doing the job but looking to upgrade to a K-3... trying to find out if I will find it acceptable for video (not looking for anything fancy - home/family videos only)... but I digress.

The FA 31 has more or less been glued to my camera since I got it this past December.

*istDS - Sigma 18-50 kit lens (it's basically an elaborate body cap)
ME - Pentax A 28mm F2.8
MX - Pentax M 50mm F1.4
A3000 - Pentax A 50mm F2
SP1000 - Tasman 135mm F3.5
Zorki 4 - Jupiter 8 5cm F2
Zorki 5 - Industar 50 F3.5
Praktica FX3 - Carl Zeiss Jena 50mm F4 (I think, can't remember 100%)

And there's a couple of inherited Canon EOS things with some godawful plastic kit lens on them (it matches the godawful plastic bodies they have)

as of yesterday my K-5 is complimented by my new 35mm F 2.8 Macro by PENTAX=====sweet!! "EAGLE-FRIENDS" seems to me, has a fabulous collection of all-the-right-stuff. I can't think of a better "set-up" of lenses and camera. wow!!!

SMC DA* 16-50mm f=2.8

SMC DA* 16-50mm f=2.8, but its almost single Pentax lens I do have (besides DAL 18-55mm).
To be honest SMC DA* 50-135mm f=2.8 and SMC DA 12-24mm f=4.0 are on their way to me
I hated K10d (I got K10d couple of years ago for my teen who wanted to try SLR camera; they did not fall in love; I guess today teens cannot live without LV).
OK, with K10d and SMC DA 16-45mm f=4.0 you can make nice shots, byt this bundle is nothing putting you on your knees.
I was to go up one step higher to K20d, but with the price of $495 for K-5 IIs (Adorama) I could not resist going higher
K-5 IIs is nice body, but with $599for K-3 from quick&done I could not resist going higher up the ladder
K-3 is very nice body (with some quirks), so I decided to stay in Pentax club, at least for a while
I'd like to use my collection of M42 lenses (Sonnar 2.8/200mm, Sonnar 3.5/135mm, Pancolar 1.8/80mm, Pancolar 1.8/50mm), which is not_so_easy (i.e. with flash).

K-5 with Pentax SMC-A 28-135 Macro. Though it's somewhat heavy it's a versatile lens that spends a lot of time on my camera when I'm not doing a project.

Today it is the Pentax A 135, f 2.8. Interesting to use hyper focal with apertures >5.6. Focus is easier, naturally, and at longer distances I still love the bokeh.

I suspect there may be more kit lens users who are cowering in the shadows. Make yourself known! Don't go swapping it out for your FA31, just so you can say it is "on your camera right now"!

Maybe the question should have been, "What lens did you (honestly) use to take your most recent photograph?"

I've a camera body your 85 can jump on Ron

Currently on my K3 is the FA* 400mm. It seems to have become a permanent fixture to my K3 since picking it up in May. A bit of a PITA to be lugging around every day. I've a sneaking suspicion that if I could find a copy of the FA* 600mm, that would become the new permanent fixture.
