Hello guys,

I wonder if anybody has found the right AF tweak or settings for the sigma 18-35 1.8 lens via the optional USB dock? I know there've been issues with the AF accuracy of this lens, and I'm referring specifically to Pentax K-3. Could you kindly share your manual settings? Thanks!

Each lens will respond uniquely as will each camera body, there is no magic bullet setting that will eliminate all AF issues with this lens. My copy of the 18-35mm f/1.8 "ART" was all over the shop:



It is absolutely crucial that you have access to a method of quantitatively analyzing the precision of the AF of your lens and camera in order to adjust your lens correctly. My Pentax K5IIs AF calibrations were confirmed through rigorous analysis, Fortunately you can save lens profiles to suit individual camera bodies - which I have done with my K3 and K10D.
