M 20mmf4 or DA 15mmf4 ?

250€ VS 350€ (15mm).
20mm on k-01 might fit in a jacket-pocket ,right?

20mm vs 15mm is very different. I don't have the M 20mm but I do have an SMC Takumar 20mm f/4.5 which I quite like but it is not in the same class as the 15mm.

Depends on what you are shooting and your style. The 20mm would also work on FF the 15mm will not. The 15mm is AF the 20mm is not. The 15mm is auto aperture the 20mm is not. The 20mm is OK for street shooting the 15mm is too wide (for me). Both are excellent for landscapes but the 15mm is definitely wide, the 20mm is just comfortable. The coatings on the 15mm are going to be much better than the 20mm.

Maybe you should be comparing M 20 f4 to the DA 21 Ltd.
I don't (yet) have the DA 21 but it certainly has a size advantage!

I can't speak for the others but I'll never give up my 15mm Ltd. The 15mm is a truly special lens.

According to the lens database the DA 21 is actually smaller and lighter than the M 4/20. And for my hands it is nearly too small.
A great little lens ...

I love my 15mm Limited - tell me what you plan to photograph with your combo? I have found the 15 to be more versatile than I expected but you can make almost any lens perform many roles if you work at it. Take a look at my Album "single in January" located here for an idea of the breadth of photos possible in just a few days use.

Unless you are shooting film regularly, and absolutely *need* something that wide, get either the da15 or the da21 (they are both significantly better in every possible metric)

The da21 is the smallest of the 3, and my personal favourite from the da limiteds (although I will concede the other da limiteds are optically better)

Yes, but the DA 21 is even more so - smaller and lighter, even if not by a whole lot. And faster (f/3.2 vs f/4). Better? Probably a matter of taste and preference more than anything.

The 15 is for a slightly different use IMO, being quite a lot wider.

But does the DA 21 have pixie dust?

Only if you don't snort it...

But really, from what I've seen it's the photographer that provides the pixie dust, not the lens.

I agree, but certain lenses are "special" I have felt the 15 Ltd is one of those special lenses.

True. Some lenses are easier to get nice results from, and I think the 15 is one of them (but you still have to use it "right"!)

Wandering off-topic, the 43 and the FA 28 are two others that I find being "helpful". (I don't have the 31 and 77.)
