New Pentax Lenses for pre-order 70-200 & 150-450

I didn't even realize these lenses were in the pipe line -

Hmmmmm which lens to get first. But more importantly When does the FIRE SALE of the old DA lenses and K-3 camera's START!

Let's see I'll probably be able to pick up a used K-3 for $150, maybe a DA 60-250 for $75. Oh..... the list goes on and on, i just can't wait

But do they cover FF? If Ricoh/Pentax genuinely has a FF body in the pipeline, I would wonder about them if these do not cover FF.

Nice find Stan. $2300 & $2500 respectively MSRP. About in line with expectations in the threads where folks have been speculating.

Thats significantly more than the Sigma 150-500 @ 3.9+ pounds.

I wonder if Ricoh will covertly allow a FF image circle (or a ~1.2x crop) on DA lenses which can cover it, and restrict it to a 1.5x crop on others? They could even adjust for vignetting in the JPEG output.

Prices are ok. On Black Friday they will be $500 and $600 respectively with free grips, tripods, cases and K5 bodies

The 70-200 is heavy for it's class, also...

1835g vs 1540g for the Nikon AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8 G ED VR II

And the currently available (for Pentax) Tamron 70-200 IS 1150 g

DC motor? Has Pentax given up on HSM ring style motors? Will this be as fast/faster focusing than DA* 560-135mml or 60-250mm
