Nice shots, if I was thinking about getting lens like that, then it would have helped. Since I'm not, I just want to write that it seems to make great pics....

Nice subjects, nice pictures and it looks like this is a very capable lens. I like #3 in the first set and number 2 in the second set of photos. What an amazing festival to behold!

Amazing photos, the colors really stand out and the subjects are engaged with you. Great work.

i think you've posted some of the most interesting LBA photos on this forum yet. very colourful!
it's good that you've received a good copy of the lens after the initial complaints.

Nice shots! I am really thinking about getting this lens after my bad experience with the Pentax 16-50. The reviews on the Tamron are very good. Can you answer me a couple quick questions? They may seem silly, but I know the IQ is good, I am wondering about a couple non-IQ issues:

1) If you use the built in flash with the Tamron 17-50 installed, do you get a shadow like you do on the 16-50? The 16-50 you can clearly see creates a shadow from 16mm to about 40mm.

2) Do you notice any lens creep if the lock is not on?

Thanks

Here's a recent one of mine IMGP1326 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

Though I have played with the colours a little.

1) Yes at 17 but only a touch. I see you posted the same question on Dp, so to give you a clear answer I quickly took some test shots. 17mm, 35mm, 50mm.

2)No, not yet anyway, i actually gave it a little pull to see if i could move it, its very solid.
