It's funny how people throw in extra lenses when I haven't even discovered my "TOP" 5 yet, but, this is my TOP 4:

FA 31mm Ltd
FA 43mm Ltd
FA 77mm Ltd
FA 100mm 2.8 macro

I've only tried a few other lenses but would hardly consider one of them a top pick.
Lens #5 may turn out to be a zoom because: As much as I'm loving strobe portrait photography, everyone ignores this and ALWAYS, ALWAYS ask me to shoot events. I love my primes, but not for events.
So this leaves me to believe I'll eventually tap out and acquire a fast zoom.

Pentax has said there is a difference between Film lenses and FF lenses. All new FF compatible lenses will have a larger image circle compared to film to make use of shake reduction. Of course if you turn off SR than it shouldn't be a issue. It certainly makes me wish I had the know how to do a mockup k-mount with a spot marking the sensor distance and compare image circles.
I guess we'll know more soon enough I suppose.

The sensor doesn't move *that* much with SR. At the worst, you'll just have what should be mild vignetting at one side of the image. If you're not trying to fill 100% of the frame and can live with 98% or so, then it will be fine.

Pentax officials have to think about JPEG-only shooters who will not crop or post process--they will complain of ruined photos. For anyone post-processing, it's probably not going to be a big deal.

My top 5 choices among currently available lenses:
Da 15 (would just use in crop mode on the FF)
Fa 43
Fa 77
Voigtlander 125/2/5 macro
F*300/4.5

My top 5 choices including planned lenses (based on most recent roadmap):
DFA(*) wide aperture UWA zoom (?16-30/2.8)
Fa 43
Fa 77
Voigtlander 125/2/5 macro
F*300/4.5

The only ones on those lists I currently own are the Da 15 and Fa 77. I'm really hoping the new DFA UWA zoom gives the Nikon 14-24 and Canon 16-35 a run for their money, though that will of course mean expensive and large/heavy (I'd make those sacrifices for stunning IQ). I have the Fa 31, but if I got a FF may not keep that as I think the FOV on FF wouldn't be a great fit for me. I also have the Zeiss 50/2 ZK Makro-Planar, but would probably sell if I got FF as I'd want my normal lens to be AF. The Voigtlander is maybe a pipe dream, but would love to find a copy someday to use on FF (now if only had the funds...).

What I use most on my Sony A7:

- Cosina/Voigtländer UW Heliar 12/5.6 (stunning lens and sooo tiny)
- Pentax FA 20-35/4 (superb colors; my best walkabout lens)
- Canon 50/0.95 (dreamy with swirly bokeh when used wide open)
- Contax / Yashica Sonnar 100/3.5 (sharp as a razor, Zeiss microcontrast)
- Pentax F* 300/4.5 (very sharp, almost apochromatic)

On the future Pentax FF, here are the lenses I expect to use the most:

- Samyang 12mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS (full-frame fisheye)
- Pentax FA 20-35/4 (will autofocus on the Pentax body)
- Cosina/Voigtländer Nokton 58/1.4 (great normal lens with beautiful bokeh)
- Cosina/Voigtländer Apo-Lanthar 90/3.5 (compact apochromatic telephoto with close-focusing ability)
- Pentax F* 300/4.5 (will autofocus on the Pentax body)

Of course, I also use other lenses as needed, like the Pentax DA 15/4 (for the sun stars in crop mode), the Pentax FA 85/2.8 Soft Focus (much better on full frame than on crop sensor; soft wide open but very sharp closed down with superb colors; I suspect this lens to have the famed "ghostless coatings"), the Cosina/Voigtländer Apo-Lanthar 125/2.5 and 180/4 (both are perfect lenses but the 125/2.5 is just to bulky and heavy to be an everyday lens: it's even heavier than the Pentax F* 300/4.5), the Tamron 350/5.6 compact mirror lens (great for the donuts) and last but not least, the Pentax FA 35/2, which is a fabulous lens on fullframe.

Some lenses I was expecting to use on full-frame but disappointed me:

- Pentax FA 24-90 (to many chromatic aberrations on the edge of the frame; it's a shame because it would have been such a convenient range)
- Pentax FA 50/1.4 (images lack "punch")
- Tamron Adaptall 35-210 (lots of chromatic aberrations; weak corners at 35mm, even when stopped down)

Cheers!

A24/2.8
FA43/1.9
M85/2
Sigma EX15-30/3.5
Sigma EX180/3.5 macro

The K35/3.5 and the A50/1.7 are perhaps better than the A24/2.8, but the A24 is the latest LBA-fueled aquisition...

The Core-4:

FA20-35
FA43
Voigtlander 58mm f1.4 Nokton
K85 f1.8 or Voigtlander 90mm f3.5 APO

Then either an UWA or Telephoto depending on your use.

It seems like this must be a very very nice lens. But the prices on ebay are "very nice" as well

It is a great lens indeed, especially for macro shots on a sturdy tripod. The total immunity from longitudinal chromatic aberration ("bokeh CA") has to be seen to be believed:

But to me, it's just too bulky and too heavy to carry as an everyday telephoto. And I agree the price it sells for nowadays is completely insane.

Cheers!

Of the lenses I own:

Fisheye/superwide: DA10-17
Ultrawide/wide: FA*24 (36/2.8 on APS-C)
Normal/short telephoto: A50/1.2 (75/1.7 on APS-C)
Mid telephoto/macro: DFA100WR (150/4.0 on APS-C)
Telephoto/supertele: DA*300 (450/5.6 on APS-C)

Which is not say that they are my favourites (I have neglected all Three Amigos, which would have to get a mention for sheer Pixie Dust), but for a five lens kit-of-everything it would take some beating.

A very good lens. The Pentax FA 35/2 is also a superb lens on full frame (I guess that's the reason why it's still in production today) and its focal length is much more useful than on crop format. It is my best 35mm lens on the Sony A7, better than the Takumar 35/3.5 and the Canon FD 35/2 SSC.

Of your list, the Pentax/Sigma 17-70mm and Pentax 55-300mm are not suitable for full frame because they do not cover the whole 24x36 image field (at least not over their whole range).

Cheers!

I know they are not FF compatible, but they make a great, "relatively light", 2 lens combo for travel in an aps-c system. This combo is good enough for 90% of my photographic needs.
