Hi,
Some time has pasted since the launch of this lens and up till now there is "not a single" review out there, people are asking left and right as to the image quality of this new interesting lens and all we have is a handful of images which can never really replace a decent technical review.

I know this lens may have been overshadowed by the very recent lens and FF body announcements, but is it possible to give us some idea of when you will be reviewing this lens?

If you're referring to the Pentaxforums front page, nope, there is nothing. All we got are three short user reviews in the reviews section.

Actually, the 16-85 only started shipping at the end of December. It hasn't been out that long.

I think somebody's mixing it up with the DA 18-135mm which has been out for eons!
