Tamron 70-200 with new Pentax HD 1.4x TC

Has anyone tried the HD Pentax-DA AF Rear Converter 1.4x AW with the Tamron 70-200mm F2.8 Di LD Macro?

If so:

1. How is the IQ?
2. When used together, do the lens and TC communicate with the body properly?
3. How is the AF performance in diffrerent lighting conditions?
4. Other observations?

I recently did a quick test and I observed 1) no noticeable diminution in IQ, 2) no noticeable change in AF, 3) comunication with the camera is as it should. Focal length and aperture are corrected. I haven't used it enough to make any other observations. As I said this was just a quick test on the book cases. Someone using it in more challenging circumstances may have a different story. Over all I like this TC. Its worked well on all the lenses Ive tried it on. I can't wait to go birding with it in the spring:-)

Yes: k5iis - tamrom 70-200 f2.8 - pentax tc 1.4x. My conclusions:
- focus is slower
- hunting, too much hunting (planes on the sky, birds on shade), most of the time I've managed to get the focus using non central focus point only, otherwise just hunting
- surprisingly sharp at infinity, actually seems that is more sharper than without TC (tried at 200mm on Moon or other distant objects)
- softer for close focusing
- no other problems.

Thank you for the responses. The hunting is the "flaw" I was most expecting. Although I also have a K5IIs, I wonder if the K3 does any better?
