What PKA third-party lenses?

What third-party type A old lenses, is it wise to be purchased? Lenses with decent quality at a decent price?

That is an incredibly broad question. I'm sure others will post with their favorites but you might do better to do some research here: Pentax Lenses by Sigma, Tamron, Zeiss, and more - Reviews and Specification Database - Pentax Lens Review Database to see the reviews and what is availabel.

It's hard to go wrong with a Macro lens.

Samyang lenses and their rebrands are very good: i.e. the 85mm F1.4, 24.mm F1.4, 10mm F2.8, etc.

example:
DA18-135mm: rrp £400+ (329.95 from a shop)
Tamron adaptall SP 28-135mm. Equal/superior in resolution 50-135mm stopped down, markedly inferior at 28mm, not as good wide wide open but faster, more prone to fringing. This assessment from side by side usage and pics comparison. est £30-50 + PKA adapter £40-50.

Thanks all for the replies. I am interested in MF A type lenses.
I was thinking someone had a pleasant experience with a specific MF A type third party lens that would be worth to buying. What is this lens?
The only MF type A lens that I have is the Samyang fish-eye 8mm. It is ok opticaly, but the focusing distances marked on the lens body do not correspond to actual focus distances.

I read somewhere that some old Sigma lenses can stiffen in the camera mount. Is it possible for A type versions, or is it possible only for pre A Sigma lenses?

Its possible with all lenses if bad luck probably but more likely with these old thirty party manufacturer lenses than pentax branded lenses. these pk-ar type lens mounts can be little/more tight than others. i try to fit these first to my old (and not working) film body and if lens mount is ok then use with dsrl.
