I have been considering the Tamron myself. It seems to have very good IQ if you get a good one. Don't know if the DA/F 70-200 would be worth it if you already have a 60-250mm. Funny that the announcement of these two lenses has seemed to driven down the used prices of the DA* 60-250 and the DA*300mm without the lenses being available yet.
The new D-Fa lenses as stated by Ricoh are designed with improved AF dc motors and performance in mind to take advantage of tracking on the K3. Ricoh said previously that most of the lenses so far don't have the responsiveness to keep up with the SAFOX XI, (basically the lenses were handicapping the system) Also witness accounts who tested these lenses in the camera shows state that the AF is very fast indeed, one quote saying that it made the Sigma Sport 150-600 look pedestrian on a Nikon d810. If these two new lenses are indeed fast, we might be looking at AF performance that's closer to Nikon.

That would be a welcomed improvement. It is something to consider.

It'll take a bit of getting used to, but I think it's better off this way with long, heavy lenses, especially the 150-450 which extends. Most people spend a lot more time using the zoom ring than the focus ring, and a long configuration like that balances a lot better if you hold it out there.

If you hold near the mount, your hand is going to tire out a lot faster fighting the torque generated by a long, 2kg lens.

It depends on shooting position. It makes more sense with monopods, but I recently shot a wrestling match today in a gym sitting on the floor, braced the lens against my knee, had my hand on the mount where my Tamron 70-200's zoom ring was. The benefit of this position and setup was that I could easily zoom in and out with just my forefinger and thumb without affecting my lens with excessive motion (because my hand was tight to the mount area).

But if I had a monopod, it would get in the way of the zoom ring, so pushing it further out has that benefit.
