I'd say these are pretty poor samples if they're to attract pros

You shouldn't direct link to images. Especially if they are HUGE.

For the 70-200, the 200mm snowmobile is ok but for the sunset at 100mm, I see a slightly circular aberration in the sunset which follows throughout the picture radiating from the sun. I don't know if this is what others see, maybe it is my laptop screen. It looks like the coating but could be JPG artifacts.

For the 150-450. they both look ok but not great. I wish they had looked at it at 450 instead of just two pics at 190. Again, looks like JPG artifacts.

Both pics from each lens could have looked great if shot in RAW and some simple post in LR.

Pixel peeping on the snowmobile shot suggests a hint of motion blur. Though these images do display the lens performing in harsh conditions and also show some nice colour rendering.

As for the 150-450 if you look at the MTF charts these images are taken at the zoom range where it performs the worst. And they still show reasonable sharpness.

But overall I do agree there are much better images that could be taken to demonstrate the strengths of the lens.

Edit: Also note on the 150-450 - F/8 @1/15s ISO100 for the shot of the town
Saturation: High
Sharpness: Hard

Similar on the Agapanthus F5.6 @ 1/25 ISO100
Saturation Nomal
Sharpness Hard
They seem like rather lazy shots to be honest

I understand that these were taken on a tripod but I would not let it get that slow on the shutter speed.

I don't see the circular aberrations. What I do see is pretty sharp corners at F8.

The snowmobile shot does have motion blur. You can almost see it being sharp at F2.8 even with the motion blur though (the line of the helmet).

I looked @ 100% on a decent calibrated 27" monitor and could not see the aberrations you speak of. It would have been more informative to have used a FF camera for these samples and they probably would have it they had one close to completion.

is it only me or is on the 150-450 the left side much sharper than the right side?
zoom in on the beige house and from there move straight left and right. while on the left side i can easily make out the pattern of the leaves i can only see muddy textures on the right?!
edit:
this seems also to be the case for the flower shot.
from the landscape, do you think the lens is lacking a little in contrast'?

as for the 70-200 i think for 2.8 the shot is quite sharp. unfortunately it seems he didnt freeze the subject. i can make out some slight motion-blur. thus making statements kinda impossible.

as for the bokeh, its shot with the k-3. But i had hoped it to be a little smoother. or is this normal for 2.8/200mm ?

cheers

Anyone know what kind of case either of these lenses will come with?

Something new hopefully... I'm expecting a hard case, especialy based on the price of these lenses.

I doubt it. Look toward the 560 for the style they will likely go for: Semi soft case.

I can see red/yellow and blue CA with some (potentially corrected) PF in the 70-200 snow shot, nothing serious but about the same level as my Sigma 70-200 HSM II. None of the shots show me anything more that they are atleast decent optically.
Quite meh pics to be honest and I'm really susrprised tat they show them off like this, though I'm sure that they are genuine due to the non-perfection.

Those pictures would have been a lot more exciting if they were shot a FF body.

Even just an empty lump of plastic with some film taped to the back.
