Rokinon 8mm fisheye coma

Hi all,
Got a new rokinon 8mm fisheye 3.5 from Amazon yesterday. I had debated between rectilinear or fisheye, and the 180 fov for milky seemed like it had potential after a little defishing. Aside from the focus scale being off, as I've read all sam/rok/bower lenses are, my copy seems to suffer from a good bit of coma until I stop it down to around 6.3, making it fairly useless for astro. Is mine just a bad copy that needs to go back to Amazon since I haven't read of this being a common issue?
