Pentax Lenses - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database

Scroll down to 'film era pentax k-mount lenses', pick the category and try to find the lens. On the forum, lenses are usually referred to as K, M, A etc. It might be SMC Pentax 35mm F2 Reviews - K Prime Lenses - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database, else do a little more digging in the above link.

//Edit:
for more sample pics takern ith the lens, you can try your luck here: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/130-lens-sample-photo-archive/

Good lens if you find it cheap, better than M35 but not in the league of FA35, soft wide open but improves significantly at f2.8 though still not as good as FA35. I owned and sold it as I was not okay with the wide open performance.

Very nice lens , with the wonderful build quality of the K series and overall very good performances.. Of course, it´s not in the same league as my K 28 f/2 , but however I like a lot., and I´m very happy with the results obtained In my K10D , it renders beautiful colors and very good sharpness , specially at medium apertures ( f/4,5,6 and 8 ) . Wide open is soft, and , if your main concern is sharpness , K 35 f/3,5 is better ( as is K 28 f/3,5 )

I have the K28/2, K28/3.5, K30/2.8, K35/2 and the K35/3.5.

They are all sharp and great lenses, but I would rank the K35/2 as my least favorite of the bunch.

Phil..

My experience with this lens is that at infinity distances, it exhibits a great deal of field curvature, so it's not really suitable for landscapes. Having said that though, it's a great lens for subjects at medium and closer distances. I think it would be *awesome* on full frame.
