Originally posted by Marktax The best PZ uses (to me) on the PZ-1p were zooming to frame (of course), followed by zoom during longer exposures to give you smooth zoom trails (i.e., not doing it by wobbly hand), and auto retract to shortest length when cutting camera off. On the 28-105, I set zoom clip to 35mm so I could get there quickly at the push of that button. The others fundctions I didn't use that much. K-3 still performs zooming when the zoom ring is set to the power zoom position. In truth, however, that zooming mechanism was optimized to work smoothly, so manual zooming with those old lenses works very nicely too. However, the IQ of the 70-200mm f4-5.6 (the only one I still have) does not fare well with the digital sensors.
Thanks Marktax,
I chose this Len is because of the price and in very good condition. FA 28-105 has three of them.I read the Review most people like the 28-108 F3.2-4.5 For better Colors and F stop !!.
I can not see why it has the different ??
Thank you, for your help !,
