A rarity, not to be missed.

You're hesitating? Never heard of the famous ... Funghi Gorgonzola Edition of that lens?

I had a guy here try to pay me in gear once for a photo retouching job. The camera was okay but the lenses he gave me looked like this. I was like "Uhuh." and I handed it right back. You see lenses this bad all the time here though in the thrifts. It's the tropics. Mold and other fungi they grow like crazy. This is exactly why I have my stuff in airtight dry ammo boxes with tons of desiccant. I survived one major fungus outbreak a few years ago, but it cost me a dozen lenses. Fortunately it was mostly just my Minolta and Yashica stuff and not my Pentax gear. But ever since then I'm near religious about keeping my stuff dry and clean...

I didn't realize the sucker born within the last few minutes, grew up to shoot Pentax!

I would not put that lens on a camera!

If there was ever a lens you wanted to smash with a fire hydrant just to see what happens then this one is it!

I inherited one lens dirtier than this. It was my father's first zoom bought circa 1980. Both of my parents smoked back then. The lens was used for a while then stuck in a fabric bag for 2 decades. When I returned to photography and examined the lens it was filled with fungus, coated in residue from tobacco smoke, plus whatever other dust and air pollution landed on it. I would have spent more on cleaning products than the lens was worth.

It's got a retractable hood AND Full-frame ready,,, it'll look 'good' on the new Pentax Full Frame.

The contrast of the' Old' versus the' New',, so any of you guys plan on getting the new FF? A ready 'cheap' lens is just a click away
