That's an amazing capture - when I first saw it on my phone, I thought it was a nuclear explosion!

Finally using some of my Pentax glass... I gotta work back into manual focusing!

Pentax-A 100mm 4 Macro K10D

And a Dave-inspired shot haha:

No burger, but beef indeed (steak) for my carnivorous five year-old.

I had a little one of these little guys on one of my dill plants (I do not use the dill, I do not even know why I intentionally grow it :-/ ) - We watched it for three-to-four days in hopes to see it metaphor... but on the fourth/fifth day it disappeared (no cocoon) - likely snacked on by a bird or something. I got to make a video of it eating away.

Great Nikkor series - how you adapting these? Sony-E?

Nice series too.

This morning I went looking for this caterpillar but didn't find it. I guess it became bird food. Recording video was a good idea. I always forget about it and never use that function.

Sony E with K&F adapters. I got a A7riiia last Christmas and it became my body for manual lenses.

There must be many of these out there, likely high grasses protect them better than homing in a single plant situated within a somewhat manicured garden.

I seldom take video, and I was going to shoot it with my phone (while carrying my camera on my other hand) - then the realization came to me.
