now that you have both - do some back-to-back shooting and you'll be able to see the difference....

K-3 with the DA 15. This is Point Betsie Lighthouse in MI.

My problem is that because I am planning on going FF, I will need a below-20 WA lens, and I have chosen a 151B because I saw one, but do I still have to keep the DA15?

I would keep the DA 15 IMO. I don't know how it will play on FF, but there are so many good things about that lens.

Another DA 15 shot.

Some SMC DA15 Shots

All at f5.6. The corners seem to be pretty bad. Does my copy need a service?

Yes, definitely something going on there, particularly on the left side of the photos. I looks like "reciprocity failure" which is something I haven't seen since shooting film.

K-3 with Porst Color Reflex MC Auto 55mm f1.2

there's a very good lens buried in here amongst all the f1.2 hype:

now that I have the metering sorted and can actually shoot at something other than f1.2, there's a lot to this lens....

depends on who is talking... Porst was a German camera equipment seller, but of mostly rebranded equipment..

the 55mm f1.2 is most likely a Cosina-manufactured rebrand of a Tomioka design...

I'll probably be doing some comparisons of my 50/55mm lenses next month, including my K55/2 and A50/1.4.....

(edited for correction)

You have an A 50 1.2? In addition to the Porst 55 1.2?

The first time I read that I thought you said "film emulsions"

Which software are you using?
