Ohh Myy....I so happy for You , and the images look outstanding ! However thanks for now making me want one for myself .....Enabler !
I actually think this Lens deserves the "Pentax Best Of All Time 50mm Lens Ever" Title , after using one about a year ago myself.

you're welcome.... part of the allure of this thread, for me at least, is the uncovering of hidden or forgotten gems such as this...

Yes, the primes are so much more interesting than zooms And it is cool seeing the results from all sorts of lenses ranging from new designs to those 50 or more years back.

I cant wait to post results with my Sankyo Kohki 28mm Komura.................
Ive waited 34 years to get my paws on another copy.
Not a very sharp or highly regarded lens by any means , but the bokeh and dreary, dreamy ,subject isolation effect was sensational on film.
I used it in high school to do several photo Journalism assignments .
The fall-off was quite bad wide open....made it such a nice lens........lol
Later on I couldn't determine if it was the camera lens , or possibly the enlarger lens creating the subtle effect ?

Make your Wine Tasting Rock!
Hit the Farmer's market this morning and then walked over to the park across the street since it was a balmy 44 F, (7C) and sunny so I worked on playing with the DOF of my FA 77 Limited.
One of my fellow Liberty residents does some very cool things with stone and rocks. Here is one example at a wine merchant's booth. They go from one bottle to ??? (at least three as seen here.)
Starts getting heavy after two or three bottles when you flip over the stone to begin serving.

Wow! A little creative flare and on the actual macro shot I can see the individual ice crystals of the frost. Is Margeaux ever coming off the K3?

I kind of like them 8 SMUs or less, but I have a lot them bigger than that.

K-20D with DA70. Kind of an odd mix of colors with the muddy pond and blue skies.
