I am jealous Dave, not of the lens even though it looks good already, but the fact you have a Sonic nearby. I would have to drive to Massachusetts for the nearest one. Literally One. At least it is closer than the nearest Waffle House, which is in Ashtabula, Ohio. (On the route to Mom's house so I have to know.)

thank you - getting used to the new lens, but I think there's some serious potential here...

while we live in the country (nearest town is ~ 15 miles from home), we live almost at the crossroads of the US - so pretty much any fast-food joint you can think of is available here...

I have to admit, I chuckled about Sonic - we have more Sonics than McDonalds....

The Lime Ades are the best, and the breakfast sandwiches are the cause of weight gain but they are good.

Fooling around with my 40 and a new Fish!

Here is a hornet or wasp leaving after finishing lunch on my single Onion scape. (Why do the wasps like it so much, I wonder?)
And a funhouse Plumtree picture taken with my new 8.5mm Fisheye. Any lines near vertical at the edges go super wonky even if you try to de-fish in DxO!

I like the soft one. Some people pay a lot of money for lenses that do that
