The Gathering "Street Photography"

Being bold with my "Good Lady” (Pentax-A 20mm F2.8), in a noisy environment and with a distraction of a mobile, can yield potentially wonderful results.

I'm literally inches away from this guy and he didn't know I was there, so I managed this candid portrait of him.

the story behind the photo, a few days ago I got some close up photos of humming birds at these feeders. Since then I have had no luck seeing them

today, as I approached, I saw one and decide to see what I could do

of course by the time I got close, it had left and never came back

so I decided to crop

in composing, shooting, and processing these shots - I've found that 24mm is actually too tight for them; in previous years, I've used a 17mm and a 14mm to shoot the rides at the fair and always had more room to compose with... these were just too tight to work with comfortably....
Hi Dave

They still look ok to me
looks like you had fun

This was shot with my “Sweetheart” (Pentax-A* 85mm F1.4)... so I was far enough back.

movie night requires pizza, which requires a run into town to pick up said pizza

(we did not have pizza from this establishment, just thought the cluster of signage was interesting)
