I concur - that expression/feeling on the 3rd is what makes a good portrait.

My main portrait model (my 2-yo) does the same thing... that's one thing fun about portraiting animals and young humans, they do whatthey want but they will express true emotion.

I bought a second lens this week, but it's a zoom so we won't discuss it when it arrives... the FA 43 Ltd, however, is scheduled to arrive tomorrow....

What's the zoom you got? Looking forward to see what you can get off the 43...

I received a K-series (50/4 Macro) this week - but my home computer (workstation for RAW conversion) is down until a new charger for its battery arrives...
