Originally posted by ivanvernon Couple of early morning shots with the K-1 and Canon-FD 55mm f 1.2, permanently converted to K mount. The first two shots are wide open, and for the last shot the lens is stopped down to f 8.0 to give some idea of landscape sharpness in fairly low morning light.
NOTE: Interesting lens for conversion to K mount as its fairly low price on eBay permits spending another $100+ for the special machining necessary to convert to K-mount. This old 1960s era film lens shows great sharpness, good contrast, and a high degree of color saturation. It is soft and glowy at f 1.2 and provides the special look that is prized at large apertures.
Is that the metal monster, or the later plastic version?
