A few yesterday to trial the SMC-A 50mm f/2.8 Macro... as much as I'm on the fence, I actually had a reasonable number of keepers from this lens.

Des Det Res

Sent to photograph this desirable property again (I did it about three years ago) and to be honest it's not looking any better, it certainly has more structural support on it now.

Here's my poetic version of the estate/realtor agent blurb describing the place.

Desirable detached property, could benefit from some decorative updating and a little refurbishment to the extensive grounds.

Quality Estate/Realtor Signage

I can't help but wonder why you'd go to such lengths to make a template for this... then overspray it with this colour, just quality.

That second shot is beautiful. Give it time, I found this lens doesn't "get to you" on the first tries... it gets better the more you use it... some lenses I find like that, that on first try they're nothing special; but later on they shine.

Thank you Ed. Om. It's reassuring to hear your kind words. I'll switch between this and the SMC-M 135mm f/3.5 only for now (given the single-in) and see how I get on for the next week or so... It might have to see some airtime in the Single-in challenge over the next couple of months!

Thank you for this Paul! It’s very much appreciated - I’m sure I’ll learn to love the lens quickly.
