the Fotodiox adapter is the only one I've seen for sale new... it seems to run about $40...

Maybe they were more expensive a few years back, or the one I learned of was a different back then.

not sure that I've had enough time for a full comparison, but the Ultron (so far) seems sharper and the colors are more rich; I've also seen a bit more CA than I would with the DA 40 Limited...

but.... I have Takumars, K's, M's, A's, old Tamrons, etc....

the build quality and the feel of the helical on this lens is on a completely different level - this is how a focus ring should feel...
