The SMC-K 55/1.8 makes a great portrait lens.

At first thought they were upset with me but realized they were just curious and come to greet me. First one shot with the SMC-K 55 f1.8 and the second with the A* 300mm f4, both on the K-5iis.
Are you sure those two are sheep? Could those two be the sheep dogs? I have never seen sheep that look that, but then I am no sheep expert.

I like dogs much more than I like sheep. These two 'sheep' dogs were with the flock when I walked up to the fence and came running up to greet me when they saw the camera. You do understand dogs are much more willing to model for us humans than sheep, right?

Tricky adapters

Those adapters can be tricky. I bought a medium format Pentacon 6 lens, the Arsat 30 f 3.5 fisheye, which the seller insisted had a Pentax 645 mount. I had never heard of a P645 mount on this lens, so bought it suspecting that it would arrive with a P6-P645 adapter, which in fact proved to be the case. Fine with me as I would otherwise need an adapter to use the lens on the 645Z. However, the adapter was fitted on so tightly as to require special measures for removal!

Last December I was shooting a horse or two that I had spotted from the road, a sheep and several dogs, while the big sheep was chasing the dog and playing fetch with a stick, then when the owner came out the kitchen door, it went into the house like a dog. All I could do was laugh at the black sheep that thought she was a dog.
