Thanks Dave! It is indeed difficult to shoot these reds, especially when they take more than 50% of the frame. The lens helps tremendously - you know that A 50/2.8 Macro I reckon... This one and my Rikenon XR 35/2.8 are amazing and easy going with these reds.

you're welcome - I have a later version of that 50mm macro and a copy of that XR35.... both do like the reds....

Thanks Paul... Lovely shots BTW... Your posts with that *ist D always keep my mind rolling on wether should I pull the trigger on one. That sensor seems to play nice with the Taks.

Thanks, Ed. Well, you can grab a six-megapickler for next to nothing these days, so go for it! There are some serious limitations, but when you get it right, the results can be magical. The Taks can certainly help.

I got a Canon D60 (yes, D60... the last D# Canon released; there after they did ##D) with battery, charger, memory card for $60 a few weeks ago. It was to pair with my Sigma 105/2.8 macro that does not like new Canon bodies
