This' a good use for a 100/macro. I use my A 100/4 and K100/4 for short telephoto applications aside from Macro.

I never shoot wide open on an "open field" shot, like the one below... it was not meant to happen, just focused on the hydrant and shot it with settings as they were... After reviewing the few shots, so happens this was my winner...

Nice set, Ed! I'm pleasantly surprised by the old M28 - better than I expected. I really like the colors and rendering, and seems plenty sharp enough. Stay tuned.
