We get the "normal" lens with the camera and almost immediately start looking for other lenses thinking the 35 or 50 are inferior. No, they are just different. These are great examples of the idea that new photographers look for cameras, experienced photographers look for lenses and master photographers look for the light! Nice mood in these with the mist!
Thank you. The only reason I want a "better" 35mm for my Fujis is that the Meike has some irritating handling quirks - focuses beyond infinity and daft (but cheap) aperture ring. IQ wise I am very happy with it. Looking around though there is not many options. Adapted RF lenses are expensive and do not focus very close. The other bargain Chinese models have the same issues or handling or are poorer IQ. Fujis XF and XC models are great but their MF function suck. Adapted SLR lenses in this FL are not appropriate as IQ can be compromised and are needlessly bulky on such small cameras. I will probably spring for a Fuji rather than a Viltrox/Tokina model as they are lighter and more compact. Just not sure which one. Although a Voigtlander Color Skopar looks quite appealing.

If I were looking for a native-mount 35mm, I'd be interested in the TT Artisan 35/1.4 lens....
