no - not my wife's, but the yarn shop she frequents for the custom-dyed yarns she uses....

Ah. I was wondering why you were promoting the store, I thought it was part of the farm's business

I need to take my 50 1.4 out to get me some of that wonderful bokeh...

Another "pipe across the creek" shot at some local woods with the Tamron 02B (28/2.5). Taken at the worst time of day in glaring sunshine . They are carving some new walkways through these woods, and I suspect a bridge will be built here eventually.

They're not that hard to find in the used market, you know? I know my M 50 1.4 also has gorgeous bokeh. All Pentax 50 1.4 lenses do, I believe, from the days of Takumars up to now. But one day I want a K 50 1.4 just because K lenses are my favorites in terms of handling...

(as I said earlier... nope, I couldn't possibly have LBA...)
I'm familiar with where to find them, I just can't justify spending more than I sold it for to reacquire one.

should I store my nifty fifty - DA 50 mm 1.8 - away from my grain stores?

Well who knows, maybe if we feed them they will grow up to be big lenses

Sigma 30 1.4 Art

This lens has taught me to defringe. The purple fringing wide open can be pretty bad but RawTherapee gets rid of it for the most part with hardly any loss of detail. And I do it because the images are otherwise very nice at f/1.4...
