A couple from a recent outing at nearby Colleyville Nature Center. Industar 50-2 on *ist D. Cool little (and I mean 'little') lens and cheap entertainment at $25

More with the M 50 f/1.7. I think I got this one for about $17. Amazing what one can do with these cheap nifty 50's.

And more with the M50 f/1.7. I did spruce up the contrast and colors.

Couple with K-1 and 135mm

A few flowers from this summer using the K-1 and some 135mm, of which there are 4 or 5 in my collection. I will hazard a guess that this is the Pentax Takumar 135mm f 2.8 K mount.

K-3 with Porst Color Reflex MC Auto 55mm f1.2

possibly the best sunset I've captured with the Porst - the coatings on this lens normally do not do well with direct blasts of sunlight:

This lens showed up yesterday, a little Christmas present to myself. I have been watching the used market for quite some time now, but Amazon offered an awfully good deal here recently. I think this is only the third brand new lens I have bought in K mount. I had a Tokina/Vivitar 17mm lens back in the film days that I loved because of the FOV and the incredible hyper focal range. I had hoped that the DA15 would fill that niche, but it is a different lens (don't get me wrong, I do love the DA15). My initial impression is favorable so far. The other option is the Venus Laowa 12mm, but the $950 price tag is a deal killer for me. Anyway I will post photos in the coming days...
