Portrait of a brother and sister

Photo of my step-children, taken about two years ago. I believe it was taken with the K-1 and the Pentax-FA 77mm f 1.8 limited, the one my wife calls our magic lens.

Yes, sorry to hear about that. I lost my Dad about 20 years ago, but I still do miss him. Prayers for healing on both issues

Pepperberry, sorry to hear your dad died. Mine died over 40 years ago, but I frequently recall some of his sayings, and if I'm working on any sort of project (sometimes with tools that used to be his) I always wonder what he would say about it, or how he might have planned it.

Pepperberry, sorry to hear of your loss.
I only recently picked up on this now very long thread. Interesting to see your development through it and the quality of the images you produce. I bought a Sigma 28mm F1.8 Ex DG macro recently, partly based on your recommendation. Thank you for your advice. Its a beast, but wonderful! My personal favourite prime is the Pentax A 50mm f2.8 macro, I see from the thread that you have used many primes. Do you have a personal favourite?
