Advance Camera called to say my Spiratone 28mm is on its way back to me, repaired and ready to go...

That is pretty great news! And it should be home well before the weekend! Standard 90.00 CLA price, or was it more?

less - the repair was a simple fix of replacing a missing aperture spring, so minimal disassembly

Walking onions? Are they edible? Sorry to hear that the Spiratone will be delayed, but you do live out in the country a bit.

they are quite edible - and taste just like a medium-hot onion...

no worries on the Spiratone - I'll get plenty of time with her...
