Pepperberry Farm. You always have such interesting and pleasing images ! Also must mention that you seem to have a quiver full of interesting and sometimes not too common lenses. Thank You for posting , and keep up the wonderful images.

thank you - I practice daily and I'd like to think that I've improved over the stretch of time this thread has encompassed...

the entire point of this thread is to find and explore my next prime, whether I stumble across one on my own or take another contributor's experience/advice....

Been some breaks in the rain, so I've been trying to take advantage with my FA 43.

The unique rendering without giving up performance really is something else.

That lens is giving you some good, sharp, realistic looking results, I like it.

That last sign must be a big disappointment for all the local alligators.

You did pretty well with that old lens under some fairly harsh lighting. Nice comp on the bridge shot.

thank you, Paul

this is what that old lens is capable if I'm not careful of the light:

haze, CA, loss of contrast... pretty much the gamut of aberrations...

This is kind of what I experienced with my Vivitar 19/3.8. It did better on overcast days and during evening hours. I was able to tame it a bit by using a slightly deeper hood, and dialing in about -.7 EV. Then the focusing ring locked up, and the lens has been idle ever since.
