@pepperberry farm;, do you know how much difference there is between the 40mm limited and the XS? I assume the packaging is the only real difference.
from everything I've read, plus the reviews & experience we have here, there is no difference in the optics...

I would imagine that the Limited is a bit easier to manually focus, of course, being a smidge deeper, and the Limited has quickshift... but that should be about it....

The XS is just an amazing little lens.

Hello,
My first post with a picture. I hope someone that has never seen a cotton plant will enjoy it.

Thanks - that photo was taken in evening light, which can be a bit tricky. I like your cotton image, too!

Thank you, Dave. I happen to like your shot of your black Lab on the previous page. You nailed the focus on the eyes. I really like it.

I can't be Related To a Guy Named Jar-Jar!

Took some shots on open creamery day this past Sunday and only carried my KP and SMC DA 40. Loved how friendly all of the goats at the farm that supplies my yogurt and goat meat were.
They are all bottle fed so they love people. This one looked like a cousin of Mr. Binks but was not amphibious. Band W since it was blown out due to backlighting, which caused green fringing around the top of the goat's head.

I like the high contrast in the shot. We used to raise Boer/Nubian cross goats. I miss kidding season with all the babies running and jumping around. Stressful at times but mostly good memories.

Any noteworthy lens with manual diaphragm out there? Preferably f1.8 and faster...
Tried to go trough lens catalog on these forums and all seem automatic.
