Now I'm curious - what lens(es) did it replace in your stash?
I know! I Know!

Dave traded his FA 43 Limited! They got a deal but I love the D-FA 100 a lot also.

Oh wow - that is a nice trade! Seems win-win just by looking at price ranges. Cool stuff!

Some more red for you--bee balm. This red is coming out pretty accurately as the actual blossom is not entirely red but has a very slight orangish, yellowish tint to it.

KIT: K-1 with (adapted) Mamiya 645 C 80mm f 1.9.

First test shots with newly arrived HD DA 70mm f2.4. Very promising. I am not used to the FOV for normal subject distances so it will take some getting used to. It really is astonishing though how so much quality can be put into a telephoto lens in such a small light package

HMMM...... I might need to get a KP or K70 to match this lens and the other Ltds i already have.

thank you

I think the biggest change (that I can actually quantify) is that I am under-exposing less, both in-camera and in my post-processing workflow...

I have not changed my camera settings or changed the software I use for processing, so that's the only thing that I can point to...

I'd like to think that by simply shooting every day, my abilities are improving (both behind the camera and at the computer)...
