Nice to see something a bit different on this thread. Really like your picture. I would love to go back and re-take it with off camera flash to really subdue the background.
Thank you! Flash, well, matter of taste of course and that would require a whole new skill for me to learn!

No nuts this time of year, and squirrels have already harvested the acorns and black walnuts. If you are talking about human nuts, no need to look; they are everywhere even when not looking for them. :>)

Oh Dear, I afraid you maybe unaware of the nursery rhyme "Here we go gathering nuts in May". If this is so you will have missed my joke. Its a nonsense rhyme which used to be taught to children in English primary schools:-
Here we go gathering nuts in May, Nuts in May, Nuts in May
Here we go gathering nuts in May on a cold and frosty morning
Forgive me if I am wrong.

No pentax gear used here, but I think the thread is more about prime lenses in general...

Yes, you definitely caught me in a blind spot, as I have never heard that nursery rhyme before, though I learned lots of other ones at my mother's knees. "On my way to St. Ives, I met a man with seven wives . . ." Thank you for expanding my education!

Thank you, Dave - this new-to-me rig has gotten me a bit behind on my Pentax endeavors... but it will come back.
