A powered paraglider flying over a beach on Long Island. Pentax K-3II and Sigma 300/2.8 with Sigma EX DG 1.4x TC (with a bit of post-processing). I actually work at this beach and this same guy was out flying earlier in the summer.

You really have to admire humanity when you see things like this. Not just coming up with the concept of a parachute, but strap an airplane engine to your back and fly around with one above you! Can you just imagine what people thought about 150 years ago if they saw this?

First JEtpack stories would not even be 100 years old yet. Buck Rogers was 1928 in amazing stories (prior to this it was usually the man propelled like the Da Vinci concept
